Programs that foster empowerment and safety of women.

The strategy is to educate and thus empower women to ensure they have a significant role in governance, public dialogue and decisions that will influence their families’ and society’s future. Through advocacy and rights-based campaigns, the emphasis is on imparting skills training as a need-based programme, encouraging social entrepreneurship through self-help groups and enabling access to micro-financing options to facilitate such entrepreneurial start-ups. Empowering women is essential to reducing poverty and generating creating income amongst impoverished communities. The cause of the girl child will be given special importance since empowered and educated women will pass on these benefits to their children and families, leading to equality.

Organizing and conducting of educational and training measures for women and school dropouts as well as promoting women’s groups to empower women and children to assure their livelihood and to live their lives self-determined and free from the fear of domestic violence, financial dependence and a lack of perspectives.
